BlogOn Conference celebrates another successful event

The organisers of BlogOn are celebrating again following the success of their latest conference in Manchester. Taking place at the Manchester Science Museum, BlogOn attracted 200 parenting bloggers from all over the UK who come to network and gain valuable insights into blogging and how to improve all aspects of their own social networking.

The BlogOn events are designed not only to help bloggers but also to introduce brands to bloggers so that companies can build upon their own social media marketing by meeting key influencers within the parent blogging sector. Toy companies have capitalised greatly on these events and the latest conference in Manchester attracting many toy companies including Ravensburger, SAMBRO, Re:Creation, Trends UK, Brainstorm and Esdevium Games.

BlogOn continues to grow and make impacts within the toy industry via its blogger outreach programme which has helped promote and launch toys such as Hatchimals CollEGGtibles so it is brilliant to see an increase in the number of toy companies who attend the BlogOn events to speak not only to their target consumer but bloggers who have the potential to make a real impact on their marketing campaigns. By introducing our delegates to each toy company, we are able to facilitate some great relationships and every exhibitor goes on to enhance their social media campaigns with the help of contacts made at the events.

The event was attended by over thirty different companies and was used as a launching platform for some of their campaigns including Swizzels Matlow’s celebration of 60 years of Drumstick lollies and the Esdevium games “Blogger Board Game Club”. The hashtag for the event trended on twitter throughout the day and reached over six and a half million impressions during the event with many more impressions occurring as the conversation continued well into the night.

BlogOn has become an essential part of our marketing calendar and has again provided an invaluable event that brings bloggers, influencers and brands together. Its provided us with many new contacts and we will certainly be attending the next BlogOn later this year

Due to the success of the spring events, we introduced our first pre-Christmas event in 2016 and it was a huge success. This event is mainly aimed at the Toy Industry and gives companies the opportunity to showcase their hottest products during a crucial selling period to a captive audience who really have the power to influence brands via social media
