In my last blog post I talked about how understanding your niche can help you plan great content that your readers will love, and in this post I’m going to share some practical ways to keep track of your ideas, how to make your blog content stretch further and how to avoid writers block, the bane of bloggers everywhere!
One of the key ingredients to every successful blog is content. Without content, you don’t have a blog! But how do you keep creating great content, week after week, month after month, year after year? In this post we’ll explore how understanding your blog’s niche and goals can help you plan great blog content your readers will love.
I attended my first BlogOn conference in May this year. To say I was nervous was a huge understatement. I’m actually not entirely sure why I booked a ticket… written by @Sophobsessed
The day arrived. Saturday 21st May. Was I worried? Was I nervous? Would I make friends? Would I know anyone, apart from my daughterand her two friends, who were attending as well? So many questions, my head was spinning. The early start had not helped either, but it was necessary so we were not late to Manchester.
Well you’ve all now had time to rest your feet and to unpack those goodie bags from BlogOn, see we told you to bring a suitcase and yet there were still those of you who disbelieved us – Tut Tut, you’ll not be doing that again I’m sure.
As a parenting blogger they were all really relevant, and the thing that struck me about this conference compared to others I’ve been to is that the PRs manning the stands knew why they were there and were keen to work with bloggers rather than simply promoting their brand. I’ve already had email contact from one regarding a review which is very exciting!
