BlogOn Toy Awards

Following a successful launch in 2017, the BlogOn Toys Awards will be back again in 2020 for the 4th Annual toys awards and we can't wait to see all of the entries and get voting.

The Toy Awards are an ideal way to raise profiles and drive sales for toy brands pre-Christmas, and will be returning to Our BlogOn Xmas event that this year will be taking place on 3rd October 2020 at The Coppid Beech Hotel.

The BlogOn Toy Awards winners are chosen by the parent influencers in attendance during the event. The entries are displayed at the conference, with the bloggers voting for their favourites in each category - the toy with the most votes overall also wins the Blogger's Choice Award.

Brands entering the Toy Awards do not have to be exhibiting at the BlogOnToys event but if you feel that your product can benefit from a demonstration then we do have spaces available in our demo zone for £30. Please contact if interested in this option.

The winners will be announced at the BlogOn Xmas Party that evening and on social media the following day.  If you are exhibiting then you get free entry to the Christmas party however you are also welcome to purchase a Corporate party ticket for £25 per person if you wish to attend.

This was our first time attending the BlogOn conference on behalf of our client Spin Master and we have been hugely impressed by not only the fantastic organisation of the event by Laura and her team but also the brilliant turn out of a great crowd of influencers.  BlogOn offers the perfect opportunity to engage directly with Bloggers and Vloggers who cover our brands, who shared their invaluable insight, feedback and enthusiasm about our products.  It was a great day and to come home with three First Place awards for PAW Patrol My Size Lookout Tower, PAW Patrol Sea Patroller and Hatchimals Colleggtibles was the icing on the cake!

Q) How do I know which category to enter?

A) Have a look at the list of categories. There may be several categories that suit the toy you wish to enter. You may only enter your toy in 1 category so please pick the one that seems the most appropriate.

Q) I can’t decide which category to enter. Can I talk to someone on the BlogOn Toy Awards team?

A) Yes, of course! We’re more than happy to discuss which category is right for your toy. Please feel free to email us at

Q) How many categories can I enter in the BlogOn Toy Awards?

A) You can enter as many categories as you like but you can only enter the same product into 1 category. If you wish to enter multiple categories you must send different products for each category.

Q) How much does it cost to enter the awards?

A) The BlogOn Toy Awards cost just £10 per entry. This admin fee helps to cover the cost involved in running the awards whilst ensuring that everyone can enter no matter what their marketing budget restrictions.

Q) When is the closing date for entries?

A) Entries close at midnight on 31st August 2020.

Q) My toy’s not on sale yet? Can I still enter it?

A) All toys entered into the BlogOn Toy Awards 2019 must be available to purchase in the UK on or before 2nd October AND you must be able to supply a sample of your product for testing by 18th September. Your toy cannot be considered for judging if a sample is not received.

Q) Will I need to send samples in? And if so, will I get them back?

A) You will need to send a sample to arrive by the 18th September. Your toy cannot be considered for judging if the sample is not received. We cannot return any sample product as these will be placed in the raffle at the end of the BlogOnToys event which will raise money for the BlogOn Community Fund.

Q) How will the awards be judged?

A) Entries will be judged at the BlogOnToys Conference on 3rd October 2020, by the 200 bloggers in attendance.

Q) What happens if I win?

A) If you are shortlisted or judged to be a winner in the BlogOn Toy Awards 2020, you will be given a BlogOn Toy Awards 2020 digital badge and a certificate, which can be used for a range of marketing and packaging activity. All winners will also be featured in showcase editorial content on, timed for publication at the peak of Christmas-gift search traffic, and supported by social-media promotion.

Q) When will I find out if I’ve won?

Winners will be announced at the BlogOn Christmas party. We will also announce the winners the day after the event via twitter, or within a few days via email. A full list of winners will also be posted to the website and shared on our Instagram account.

Q) Can I get feedback about my entry?

A) Due to the large size of the awards, we’re afraid we cannot provide individual feedback for any entries.
